Hello. I have 2 wireless cameras connected to my PC through 1 receiver. The problem is that when I move the receiver to get a good picture with 1 of the cams, the other has poor reception. Do I need separate receivers for each camera? Do you sell them individually or can I get 1 from an electronics store?

It's true... that can happen. If the cameras are placed far enough a part.. getting a position with one receiver can be tricky. I have used a corner at times and aimed the patch antennas to the same corner. Reflecting signals off the corner.

You might in your case... if you can't get both cameras to use the same receiver. This is a Community Forum... we're all volunteers and fellow X10 customers just like yourself. I have nothing to sell you.
X10 does sell extra receivers.... but check out the "package deals" and the newsletter. Instead of paying $34 + shipping for just a receivers... you might get a spare camera in the mix for just a little more (and free shipping).

You might try placing the antenna on the receiver flat (in line with the receiver) some have had luck with this position.  Others and myself have had luck buying a 2.4 camera system that had a receiver with a omni-directional antenna that was compatible with the x10 frequency.  I'm still using mine to this day.  Do a search on omni antenna on the forum and you'll probably find all the talk about it.  Hope you get it working.   ;)
