Don't know why I never thought of this before, but as some of you all know, I have powerflashes hooked to my doorbells.
Ringing the doorbell takes snapshots of the doors, and ramps up the lighting.
I also use Dispatcher to play a WAV file when it rings. Up until last night, the front door was the "Jetson's Doorbell", but seeing the Halloween season upon us, I edited the first couple of bars of "Toccata and Fugue in D Minor" into a WAV.
This can be done with lots of the 3rd party software here (BVC, X10WavPlayer, PC Companion), but I like Dispatcher's feature which shuts down the sound at certain hours and the fact that it prevents "sound spamming".
I'm pretty sure that Bach wouldn't mind, so if there's interest in the said sound file, I may post it to thisautomatedhouse.com.
