I’m having a unique problem with my CM15A. It receives RF commands including for macros, when it is the only transceiver plugged in, but won't accept a PLC command to run the same macro when its only receiving PLC commands. I did have some RF issues originally but they were only range issues. I got an external V572A and have total coverage all over the house, but when I send an RF A4 command to the V572A to send a PLC macro command to the CM15A, the command is actually on the line (as verified by my plugged in chime responding to the A4 command) but the CM15A won't run the macro (A1, A2, A3), or they get corrupted in some way. In the CM15A all House Codes are unchecked so they shouldn't transceive, so the PSC05 module should be the only modules sending the A4 command, so collisions should not be a problem. Each individual A1, A2, A3 command responds perfectly, as do my motion detectors and all slim line remotes as well as my palm remotes throughout the house, when passed by the V572A to the PSC05 module. I'm confused that the CM15A when it's the only transceiver active that is plugged in, runs the macro from an RF A4 command, but will not run an A4 macro when it receives it as a PLC command. I have even changed the macro to a different house code thinking the A4 PLC macro command was to close to the A1, A2, A3 PLC commands being generated by the CM15A when it ran the macro. Some other macros for outside lights (B4 macro turning on 2 outside lights, B6 command running 2 other outside lights) seem to work just fine. I also have my power phases bridged with an XPCR repeater/coupler as well as a couple AF120 filters for my computer and home theater equipment. Maybe I’m over thinking myself, but ths is the only problem I am having.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
