Tilt Limits for Sentinel Camera

Is anyone familiar with expanding the tilt limits on a Sentinel Camera?  An earlier post described how to do it, but Im having difficulty separating the base from the turret.  If anyone has experience with it, please let me know.  Thanks in advance!
