AHP program, Interface and Remote transmit issues {Help}
« on: August 23, 2010, 11:24:20 PM »

So I give AH Pro a try and it's like I'm back in 2007   >*<
► Trying to figure out all the freekin' SAME bugs.! it's like DejaVu   .  I had AHP now for months and CANNOT USE AHP
...Only my remote works → all the time.
SIMPLE setup    ►
I have 2 ws477 wall switches ~ A3, A4 / and 2 lamp modules A1, A2. Simple right.?

After posting here i cleaned up signal suckers and phase coupled the house
{{Trying to find an outlet for Mr cm15a to work was another story but it finally talks to the switches--→ {sometimes}}}.
AHP (from computer, using mouse) turns on only 1 of each type switch~ A1 and A4.
A2 and A3 →nothing.
My remote, 5in1 UR73A turns them ALL on without a hitch. Even AHP sliders for every switch move ON and OFF when using remote / but when I use the mouse to do it →nothing.
SOMETIMES A TIMER/MACRO set in AHP will work... then again 2 mins later the Interface sends the signal to A2
(I can see it in the monitor) →A2 on :transmit:   .....and the Light does NOT power on.
I even tried the wall Interface(thats powering the remote) and the CM15a in the same outlet (which really should work...and it does not)!!!

Any ideas on what the heck is happening now    ??  frustration point:  MAX B:(

Wall interface powering the remote?
Exactly what is the model of the remotes interface? Is it a TM751 or RR501?
You may have a condition where the CM15A and the other interface for the remote. Trying to send X10 signals at the sametime. If it is a TM751 that is not polite. A signal collision maybe happening.

Check out my post - not exactly the same, but similar. Remote works fine with a TM751, but take that out and just use the CM15 and no dice.

Having the CM15A on the same outlet as the other electronics could be a problem. Many chargers and computers make power line noise or absorb X10 power line signals. An X10 power line filter on the other electronics may help. Making sure you get one with a rated current to safely handle the load.

AHP 3.204. Has the check for updates found any later version for you? Many are using 3.228 as it was the last version that didn't have bugs in it.

Here is a few links to troubleshooting data if you have not found them yet.

Pluglink could be a problem, only way to tell is un-plug them all and see if your system starts operating better.
