Palm Pad and Transceiver
« on: December 10, 2010, 12:26:55 PM »

I am brand new to x10 and was kinda excited to get all my stuff yesterday. Here is the problem I am having. I have a PalmPad, 4 socket rockets, and a transceiver (TM751). The transceiver is only responding to button 1 on the remote. It controls (on/off) on button one but doesn't respond to any other buttons. I have followed all instructions, changed bulbs, removed power strips etc. The transceiver on clicks in response to button 1. Any help is appreciated.

The plug in the bottom of the transceiver is a built in appliance module with a relay that clicks. It is hard coded to Unit Code 1 of whatever House code you select on the wheel. So if you have your House code set to A, then consider the built-in appliance module to be A1 on your palm pad. Then program your socket rockets to A2, A3, A4, and A5. to program the socket rockets do them one at a time...screw them in and give them power, within 30 seconds of this you need to press the on button 3 times next to the appropriate Unit code on your palm pad. If you apply electricity to two socket rockets at the same time and send a unit code three times, they will both be programmed to the same house/unit code
