IR34A and Xbox 360
« on: January 02, 2011, 10:35:33 AM »

Did somebody tried (and was successful) in controlling an Xbox 360 with the IR34A ?

I use my Xbox 360 not only for gaming, but as a Windows Media Extender... as a PVR, Netflix, etc.

Thoughts ?

I'm answering my own question... :-)

I found that the DVD code 1100 can control the Xbox 360 (used as a DVD player or a Media Center Extender) ... no issues so far, and everything works as it should...

It would be nice to be able to have the word "Xbox" instead of "DVD" next to the DVD icon...
Does anybody know if this is possible ?

Regards,

Gus

Sorry, things got busy at work :'

Anyways, to answer the label question, sadly, no. Those labels are hard coded into the remote and cannot be changed.
