MC10A - Will not control lamp modules but controls wall switches
« on: February 12, 2011, 04:39:19 PM »

I have an MC10A. I plug it into a socket and an LM465 or TM751 into the other socket on the same outlet. The MC10A cannot control either. Yet, it does control some WS13A's I have installed. I have 2 MC10A's. Neither has an effect on the lamp modules. I have tried different modules with different codes. Nothing.

What gives? Any ideas?

MC10A or any power line controller can not control a TM751. It has no power line receiver in it.

Not to common but is it possible the outlet is split and each half is on a different circuit?

Have you tried the LM465s in a few different locations in the home? To see if a different location may have a better power line signal.
Standard incandescent bulbs in the LM465s?

Thank you Brian. Because of you, I decided to re-engineer my test environment and now have it working.

I wish the TM751 would listen to the line for commands. I have 3 of them not being used and 1 LM465. Oh well.
