KR22A Credit Card Controllers
« on: April 06, 2011, 09:43:26 AM »

New here! But, I have a couple of the subject wireless controllers. They get good distance w/ my old HD501 (IBM-branded RR501), but they won't work, from more than a few feet away, w/ a TM751 (even w/ fresh batteries). Bought the letter to setup a second house-code zone. Any ideas?

I never got good distances with those credit card type transmiters no matter what I used with them.
However I did fing the 4 button keyflob once had good range.
try swaping out the location of the rr501 with the tm751. The spot you have the tm751 in now may be to close to something like a cordless phone or router.
Do a search here for signal strength, RF noise and signal suckers.
Info you find may lead you directly to the issue!
