I see a few possibilities that might explain this:
A) Your handheld remote is not properly sending the remote codes (weak batteries, or HouseCode wheel contacts are dirty).
B) Your CM15A is not receiving the codes (due to its limited RF reception range).
C) Your CM15A is not set to transceive RF commands on that HouseCode to the powerline.
D) You have signal issues between the modules and the outlet where you are using the CM15A (it was unclear if you need to move it to connect it to the PC or not).
Here are a few suggestions:
1) With fresh batteries in a handheld remote, and the CM15A plugged into the PC, try to send some commands from the remote. Have AHP open and open the Activity Monitor first. If the commands don't show up in the Activity Monitor (or they show up as the wrong HouseCode), try turning the HouseCode dial on the remote all the way around a few times, then set it back to the right HouseCode. Try a few different remotes to be sure.
2) If you CAN see the commands in the Activity Log, then see if the lights are turning on/off as a result. If so, that means the CM15A CAN receive the commands, and is passing them to the Powerline.
3) Next, start moving the remote away from the Cm15A, and try again every few feet. You may find that you have a very limited distance where the remote works. In that case, search the forums for CM15A antenna mods. There are a number of things you can do to try and increase your RF reception range.
4) If you are moving the CM15A to a different outlet from the one next to the PC, then it is possible that the signals are not making it from there to the devices. This can be caused by noise, signal suckers, distance, or a whole host of other things.
Let us know how the first few tests go, and we can try to help further.
