I have installed a Powermax Complete alarm in my house and I was looking to get integrated X10 plugs so that I can switch the lights on remotely.

How do I go about doing this? I am aware that I need an external attachment on the alarm, but then is it a case or registering the X10 socket with the alarm?
The alarm manual mentions X10 but it doesn't go into specifics of how you set it up.

Also will I be able to switch the lights on over wifi? I am thinking of this for when I am abroad, I would like to switch the lights on remotely.

I downloaded the PowerMax Manuals for a few of their models.

I didn't see X10 mentioned for the PowerMax Complete.
Your installer manual should also show a place for the X10 PL513/X10Pro PSC04 interface to connect to the console. The connector looks like a modular phone jack. I also did not see a jack mentioned in the Complete Models Installer manual.

The features sheet for the PowerMax Series only shows X10 for the PowerMax Pro {15 Devices}, PowerMax+ {15 Devices} and Powermax {7 Devices}

Na it's decidedly able to use it. The attachment is universal and the keypad has the icons for the lights on/off command.
I just can't find any info anywhere.

There used to be YouTube videos from someone called 'Freddie' at some home security store, but the account was deleted so you can no longer watch the videos

Maybe this is what you are thinking of.
Since it is compatible with the whole Powermax line. It may have the X10 icons for the models that do have that capability.

I still feel you need an X10 interface connected to the console as the remote control still has to go through the console.
Did you ever find the jack in the console for the X10 interface?

I hope you have good luck in finding the information.

It is odd that Visonic's product feature matrix has "N/A" for PowerMax Complete under the X10 column.

Wouldn't Visonic list a required interface IF the "Complete could use X10?
Does the PowerMax Complete use a wall wart power supply with a coxial power connector? If so, the Complete will have a RJ11 connector inside the console for the connection of a X10 Powerline Interface Module (TW523, PSC05, etc) if it truely can interface with X10 at a multi device control level.
