I found that the LM465 lamp modules burns up wall warts (the little transformers that reduce voltage). Was used strictly on/off only, no dimming used.

What wall plug-in modules can one run wall warts without burning them out?

Lamp modules should only be used with incandescent lamps, with the exception of some cfls.
You should be using an appliance module such as AM466.
