Hi, I have 4 X10 wired camera's, two color, two black and white. I'm having problems getting the third & fourth camera to come in. I can get two camera's to come in fine, but sometimes, the pictures on the first two camera's get a lot of interference where I have to unplug the camera and plug back in, which is a pain, when I'm away from home for several days, and now can't watch what's going on due to the interference.
I plugged in two of the tm751's near the first two camera's and it made the first two camera's pictures come in a lot better but still experience interference where the picture will be gone until I unplug and plug back in.
I read where the V572 will make all 4 camera's come in? Will I also still need to use the firecracker?
My computer is a desktop PC using windows XP so my computer won't recognize the firecracker & now am using a laptop that uses windows 7 so this laptop recognizes the firecracker so I'm able to use the X10 camera's but I need to take my laptop with me when I go out of town, so because my PC doesn't recognize the firecracker, I'm unable to use the camera's unless I leave my laptop at home. I'd really like to get all this connected to my PC that uses XP.
Will the V572 solve my problem in being able to view all 4 camera's, and not have to use the firecracker? Also, what will need to be connected to my computer using the V572?
Will the V572 help with turning my lights off and on also? I am having problems getting lights that are far away in another part of the house to turn off and on. X10 told me to order more tm751's which I did but still unable to get lights to turn off and on in other parts of house. X10 told me to order two more tm 751's for the other two camera's that won't come in and that would help so wondering if this V572 will solve my problems with all 4 camera's and the lights.
Thanks for any help you can give me as when I ordered this, I told X10, I wasn't real computer literate, and if this was user friendly, and of course, they told me, I should have everything up and running in 15 minutes....been working on it now since end of June!!
