But that's all they talk about.
I sent an e-mail off to the two developers I've worked with, to try and find out any more information.

EDIT: I did find this instruction manual for the VA13A, but it is pretty sparse.
I am guessing that it is an updated VA12A:

I got a reply from the developers.
The VA13A is a replacement for the VA12A.
No real feature changes, but it comes from a different supplier, and has a different chipset, so it needs different drivers.

At least they remembered to change the model number this time ;-)

Further down on the Download page.
I found a separate VA13A set of drivers if one needed it and was not using AHP's auto update.

I also saw there where two. One for XP alone and the other for Vista and Windows 7.

That's the first download on the software downloads page the second is the AHP full installer.

Oh. you were referring to the "update" vs "full install" version.
Although, I think the "full install" also installs the VA13A driver.

I thought you were referring to the "Check for Updates" function, which is still broken in 3.318.

Update now automatically does all the plug ins you have.
Auto Update was a poor choice of wording.

I don't think X10 will ever fix the check for update thing through AHP.

I have to agree this is not a hard thing to fix!
It may not even be a issue with the code.
The file that AHP checks version numbers from most likely just needs to be updated on the web site . ::) :'

From speaking to the developers, that's exactly what it is. However, the programmer who wrote the original code, and the server-side file it pointed to, is no longer working at X10. The code wasn't documented well (or at all), so they haven't had the time to research the code and fix it yet, apparently.

One note with this update,

The elusive M MTCDDVD associated with a few of my DS10A sensors have vanished. One setup has had that error line for a long time. Other

setups has never showed up, but now seem to be RIP.  I know that the update had nothing to do with OnAlert, but they were showing up

yesterday and today they are gone. Tell me I am not crazy. FWIW

What version did you upgrade from?
I'll ask the developers if they went anywhere near that code at any point.

Never missed an update for years, got a bad habit of checking in on the Download page almost daily.
The last version was the 3.316 and now the 3.318. So what happend to 3.317?
Had attempted to reinstall in the past to get rid of M MTCDDVD on the same system to no avail. Had the same problem on other setups, but they went away after a past update.
Maybe its time for a new from the ground up AHP.

PS, any update on the SC1200 security system, still no site of it on their page.

As they have done in the past, they probably built version 3.317, but found problems in testing and didn't release it.
I sent them an e-mail asking about the M MTCDDVD status lines, but I haven't gotten a reply yet (It is still early on the west coast).

I really don't know anything about the SC1200, but from the chatter I heard here, it looks like maybe it was discontinued.
