HR12A and Computer Control
« on: October 07, 2011, 12:21:51 PM »

Hello!

I'm new to the forums. Is there any possible way to control, not the x10 automation system, but a computer with the HR12A remote? Chad Barraford from ProjectJarvis (youtube) did it, So i was wondering if anyone knew how, (I have a CM17A i don't use, a CM11A in use, and the TM75A for wireless)

Thanks!

Yes. AHP can have macros that run PC commands. You would create macros to do stuff (all command-line based), and then trigger the macros with the HR12A.
