Ok, Ok,
got to confess that the electric chair is a rip-off of Ed Edmund's Distortions Limited prop on a budget. Had a neon transformer for the ladder, fished a treadmill out of the trash for the motor, bought a mini fogger and a mini strobe. My buddy Eric built the chair, I did the engineering and the final touches. The Jacob's Ladder needs a relay on the transformer to make an appliance module run it, as does the strobe. Body is made from chicken wire and the head is a mask adhered to a styrofoam wig stand with gorilla glue. Sound FX triggered from a BVC listener, all run on an AHP macro. The hardest part was the neck. Seem the head kept flying off the shoulders. A 10 inch piece of 4" corrugated field tile provided the neck, which in the end, also gave good head movement. The rest was pretty much mundane.
