Some folks are working on it over on Slatedroid.  Not on the X10 Airpad, specifically, but on the "Lanyu 910" --- the Airpad is just a rebranded Lanyu 910, running almost identical firmware.

See thttp://www.slatedroid.com/topic/22401-fview-7-pro-lanyu-910-android-usb-devices/, http://www.slatedroid.com/topic/22543-kernel-discussion-for-fview-7-pro-lanyu-910-tablets/ and http://www.slatedroid.com/topic/22147-lanyu-910-x10-airpad/.

Note that this is deep hackage --- you have to build your own kernel modules and then get them into an update image.  I haven't dared to try to reproduce their work yet, waiting until they get the details more completely hashed out.  Then again, the last post was sort of a "eureka" so perhaps they're already done and need a little nudging to post the complete results so that others can copy without reinventing the wheel.
