wi fi stopped working

Suddenly this morning I can't connect.  I was able to connect right before going to bed last night.  My other wi-fi devices in the home are able to connect.  I turn the wi-fi off, back on...it will say it's trying to get an IP Address, but the indicator never turns green.  Any thoughts?

I have had mine do this a few times if I paused video playback for 30 min. or so and simpliest fix seems to be to power it all the way down and then power it back up.

Added: Likely caused due to WiFi turning off with Screen time out or such. I believe Wi Fi can be set to never turn off but that would be hard on battery as the WiFi uses as much battery as the Screen does.
