Whats the way of the future for H.A.?
« on: December 23, 2011, 10:47:26 AM »

Some say anyone developing for the PC is  >*<
The new android based tablets and phones are the way to go!
This may be however what connects them to your H.A. system now?
Some think the PC is dead, I don't.

With X10 comming out with tablets is a interface for one far off?
Maybe this is where X10 will go ??? ::) :'

The pc will be around for a very long time.  Still a lot of things you just can't do with a tablet.  Oh, you could probably do them but I think some things would just be a pain in the butt to do on a tablet.

I agree with you Tuicemen.  Programming for the pc is NOT  >*<

Who knows right now T.  but as for right not I think that we still need to programs for the PC and then start looking in to apps that can connect the tablets to the pc's.

as you know I have also of this already incorporated in my HA setup with mic apps and now with the web server in Ihouse I can run Ihouse from my tablets as well.  But for right now it all still comes back to communication with the PC and the interface that we have not.  It may be true that the CM15A is gone but most of us are running them and probably will as long as we can

On X10's facebook page someone asked if they were ever going to come  out or continue X10 products, and a spokesman for X10 said yes for sure.  Just saying.  Take this for what it's worth.    :'

One thing about the future, we get there one second of the time and we can't get there quickly.

This was the main reason for them switching manufacurers of  the AirPads the old ones were to restrictive in their capabilities.
