Does HR12A work with PS561 ?

Hi.  I hope this question is in the right section, and sorry if it is a stupid question.

I've got an approximately 15 or 20 year old x-10 security system, and the yellow RT504 remote hand control unit (to turn your lights, etc on and off) has worn out.

I believe it has been replaced with the HR12A ?

Ads for the HR12A say you need a TM751 to control you remote appliance and light switches (that plug into the wall), but I'm assuming my old PS561 security system base unit performs this same function, doesn't it ?

The console can transceive the RF commands from a HR12A Palm Pad to control X10 modules. For the House Code it is set to.

The RT504 looks like an older version of the HR12A from what I could find in a web search.
