The XPFM has been discontinued. Has anyone found an alternative device?

Did you look at Smarthome.com?
http://www.smarthome.com/_/Wire_in_Outlet_Modules/X10_Compatible/_/1Qb/23X/nav.aspx
Also, if you have some mechanical hacking ability, a Dremel tool, and a soldering iron, you can add wires to an Appliance module

The Homepro RF124 on the link dave w gave. Is a X10 compatible module.
Also the Smarthome Insteon InLineLinc Relay model can have an X10 address programmed into it.
