I agree with Brian, I would not expect a dimmable LED bulb to work with a two wire dimmer from X10/Maritek. However, based on your initial description of your setup. I would try one incandescent bulb in one of your eight fixtures. That would be a lot less expensive (if it works) than rewiring your home. FWIW
