After searching the forums, I didn't see any recent posts about the X10 Commander that is working on both my desktop & iPhone.

 Anyways, The X10 Commander mobile app has been on my iphone for some time & hasn't been working since the X10 servers went down, but I managed to get it working today.

 Maybe this is old news, maybe I'm posting in the incorrect area?

Anyways, I'm just curious as to what is still working, So Ill keep hunting and testing.

Yep... I bought the Melloware app back in May (I guess):  http://forums.x10.com/index.php?topic=28805.msg161327#msg161327

I am running the server part of the app..... on a little netbook-like PC the runs XP. I works great!

But I want MORE!!! Why can't I set up text messages when certain events happen. I need to rent sever/IP forwarding so I can view cameras and operate lights (and more) when I am away from my home network. I SHOULD be able to use my iPhone as my Home Automation PC and run macros and reminders right from the phone.

The iPhone can even operate (via the network/and/or Bluetooth) the TV or home theater.
