X10 Airsight camera app
« on: January 09, 2018, 02:38:17 PM »

Is this airsight section still being moderated?
I’m using the X10 Airsight Camera app for the newer version xx52A outdoor wireless camera and am wondering how to navigate back and forth from one camera to the next without having close the app and reopen it to look at a different camera.

I've not used the camera app in sometime as I found it to cumbersome.
I'll see if I still have it some where and test it out. although I don't own a new XX52
I find it far simpler to use the web interface and just book mark it.
I also created a simple web shortcut/page that will view all my cameras both at my city place and the off grid place all on one page. It doesn't allow any thing other then viewing but serves my purpose.

Thanks for the quick reply. I like your idea of creating a simple web shortcut page but I lack the knowledge to do that.  The old legacy camera app allows you to navigate back and forth, but not the new one.

I have a few newer Airsights so Ill get it tested.
If you wish I can post the webpage file so you can use it.
You'll just need to input your cameras log on info into the proper places.

Here is the file in text version it assumes your accessing using the admin account but if you wish to change that be sure to add the matching Password.
there is one line for non HD and one for HD cameras if you need more just copy the specific lines and then edit it for that specific camera
When your done editing it save as a html file then all you need to do is click on it and it should open in your default browser .
once your happy with the lay out just book mark the URL.

Thank you for providing that.  I guess I'm a dummy when it comes to .txt files.  I tried to convert it but had no luck.

Once you edit the text file click file then save as
In the screen that pops up change the name to save as X10CamView.html or anything you wish but include the html extension.
in the save as type select all files (*.*) then click ok

When I open the html file all I get is a black page entitled:

Multi X10 Camera viewing Page

page is devoid of any text or pictures.  I can only assume I've done something wrong in saving it. I saved it as x10Cam View.html  (all files)

thanks

The non HD code works for several camera brands the HD code I'm not sure of.
you most likely remove something or are using a DNNS which if your router isn't loop back capable the cameras will not be visible from your PC.
the following is what a non HD camera line would look like once edited only things in orange should be changed:
<img src="http://192.168.0.45:1046/snapshot.cgi?&user=admin&pwd=1234&t=" onload='setTimeout........

For a HD camera the edited items would look like this:
<img src="http://192.168.0.45:1046/cgi-bin/video_snapshot.cgi?&user=admin&pwd=1234&t=" onload='setTimeout.........

Hope that helps.
I thought I had the Airsight Camera app still installed but it looks like I blew it away. :-[

I guess I wasn’t clear in my previous reply.  It wasn’t that I couldn’t view my cameras after entering the information into the web page you provided. The problem is that when I open the web page there was no place to enter anything.  The page title was there but the page was entirely black.

But, I have spent to much of your time on this so I don’t want to bother you any further.  I appreciate the effort you have devoted so far.

Cheers!

Yes you were clear the cameras should have displayed. I thought maybe you had a typo somewhere as that would cause no camera image to display in the webpage.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help
