Goin thru cleaning up boxes of old X10 stuff, and I ran across this dinosaur:  BR521! 

Found a few BR wall modules too!

Predecessor to our beloved X10 home security modules!  WOW.  I may plug it in and see if it still works!  No serial or USB connection so must be just using the buttons on its front.

Hope there are a few oldies like me still around who might get a smile out of this old precurser to X10.

My gosh!  the dang thing works!  I 'installed a ds10, it pinged very loud.  I slid switch over tp run and it pinged ear piercing loud when I opened the door and showed it open/closed in zone 1!  wow!

Have a couple other B&R pre x10 modules in the batch...  the appliancde moduels work too!

The stuff was pretty well made.  I still use some of the BSR brown modules just because of the color.  I still have working ultrasonic remotes too although I don't use them or any of my PalmPads anymore since Alexa handles that now.
