I'm looking to buy one of these old clock radios from about '89 if anyone still has one.  These were also sold under the Stanley LightMaker branding around 1988-1989.  I'd guess they're somewhat uncommon.  I'd also be interested in the Stanley version, though I already have that one.  The RS unit can be seen in the 1989 RS catalog.  It should say Chronomatic / Plug N Power on it and has the usual controller rockers up top.

I'm not sure if that is the specific model you are looking for, but a quick ebay search found a handful of Radio Shack clock radios with X10 capability.  They range from the blocky wood grain typical of the 80's to the more sleek white cubes common for alarm clocks in the 90's.  I haven't seen many people list components for sale here in a while (but I also haven't looked) so second hand is probably your best bet.  The ones on ebay are in the $10-20 range so seem like your best option.

I have scoured ebay and all I found were the usual early woodgrain timers ("The Timer" clones) with the fluorescent display and the later white timers with the red LED display.  No clock radios of any kind, just timers.  It was only offered one year so I'm assuming it isn't common at all.  In scouring the internet and looking through every rat shack catalog from 1980 to 1999 it appeared once in 1989.  The RS timers sold for years end in 2670.  Stanley sold a version which I have, as did radio shack and actually X-10 sold the same one under model CR512.  All rebrands of the same basic clock radio.  Photos for reference:

I can't imagine the sound quality is very good on those radios - particularly with 40 year old speakers!  You could use an X10 appliance module to control a better sounding audio system.  If it's nearby, an older Appl Mod will wake you when it clicks on! You could also use a discretely located Amazon Dot to do it all.

Or the sounder on a Universal Module.  Those are SUPER annoying and can be set to continue beeping incessantly until sent an OFF command.  ;D
