Some quirks during installation, but nothing
major.
One thing that is apparent, is that in my OS
(XP) the USB device that is connected
is not recognized. (hovering mouse pointer
over Hardware icon on Task Bar)
Not a big deal, but the standard way to
disconnect a USB device would be to
“Remove it” first.
Was able to get things working relatively quick.
I currently have 2 TM751's , 1 for HC-A, and
1 for HC-B.
I have not yet setup the CM15A to cover both
HC's to Transmit/Receive to replace the 2
transceivers yet.
Still playing with the software. Pretty cool,
I like it.
I can see the benefits of getting the Smart
Macro module.
Found 1 bug, when in the
"Hardware Configuration" window, I press
"Help", and the program crashes.
2 recommendations initially for their next
release would be to ;
1) Provide Active Monitoring for all HC, not
just 1.
2) Store the full activity Log in the CM15A
even if computer is disconnected.
There is data from the Activity log stored in
the CM15A, but the source is "Unknown", where
as w/ the computer connected, the sources are
identified. i.e.;
CM15A w/ Computer Connected:
Event Date/Time Action Data
0 10/06/2005 12:15:21 am Receive RF B5 On
1 10/06/2005 12:15:21 am Receive RF B5 On
CM15A w/ NO Computer Connected:
Event Date/Time Action Data
0 10/06/2005 12:18:23 am Receive RF A Unknown
I understand that more data would be stored,
but if there was an option to store
The additional data, or to upgrade the CM15A
with a larger data capacity.
Just some initial thoughts.
Pleased with it so far.
