Can't uninstall ActiveHome Pro

I returned my Active Home months ago because
it just didn't do exactly what I needed.  I
never uninstalled the software and when I try
to uninstall it now from Control Panel/Add
Remove Programs, I get an error "could not
open install.log file".

How can I remove this?

If you are using WinXP, try "System
restore" from the system tool

You can also open Windows Explorer and
navigate to Program Files/Active Home Pro.

Delete everything in the folder.

Once all files are deleted, delete the folder.

Then, navigate to Program Files/Common Files/X10.

Delete everthing in the two subfolders, when
both are empty, delete them, then delete the
X10 folder.

That removes all the AHP files.
