Why Won't iwitness work with any usb video capture?
« on: June 05, 2005, 09:27:13 PM »

Xray vision is a free program and it works
with any video capture device, why is
iwitness taking a step backward and
limiting use to the x10 capture device only?

I have a Nogatech USB Live! USB video
capture device, which works with xray
vision but not with iwitness, why not?

Not sure on this one, but if you can get
iWitness and AHP to work with any capture
device let me know so I can save my USB ports
and go back to my Radeon 7500 PCI capture
card for my coaxial output FROM my X10
receiver.... cost me 70 bucks to buy a stupid
Coax -> AV output video box convertor just to
make my system capable of providing AV output
for the USB capture.....

And no, I couldn't run an AV cable all the
way across the house... my 2.4 GHz phones
(not anymore - now 5.8), and Wireless network
caused fuzzy signals in the basement... had
to move receiver up a level and run it
through coax lines to get signal into the
basement.... perfect quality now - but took a
while to figure out the TV / LCD convertor
kit to output A/V instead of a USB capture so
that X10's ONLY usb could capture it....
