I am unable to register my ActiveHome Pro
software.  The error message I receive
is "Maximum Registration Count Reached".  I
have tried registering numerous times over
the past few months, each time I installed
an X10 software upgrade.  Results are always
the same.

Bob: Send your registration code to
ahpsupport@x10.com and I will reset the data
on our server so you can register.

Bob: Are you deleting the previous version
of AHP when you upgrade? Just wondering as
this is the first time I have heard of this
happening.

I also can not register.  I tried the order
no. and ID.  Where is the registration
number found?

I expect to receive my X10-Pro controller
in the next few days and want to prepare
for its installation. The computer which
will be used with the controller will not
have and internet connection. Can I
download the software onto a CD and use
that CD to install the software on to the
computer which will be connected to the
controller?

donald mcmow

Stan: The computer MUST have an internet
connection as there is a registration
required that goes to the X10 website -
also the program loads additional data that
is pulled from the website. Once you have
the initial setup completed then the
internet is not required and you can
disconnect that line.

Thanks for the prompt response Donald
The computer which will be connected to the
nea X10-Pro controller is 15 miles from the
nearest internet connection by ATV. I can
bring the computer to "civilization" add
internet software and hardware to it and
likely download the software from X10. It
sounds like the new X10-Pro controller is a
tad more difficult to manage than the CM11A
it will replace.
