AH not working independently

I recently purchsed the new AH pro unit.  I
have had a CM11A for several years. I
switched over all of my files to the new unit.

What is happening is that I can control the
switches ( a mix of X10 units and Leviton
63xx units) if I send commands from the
computer.  I can set up timers, download them
to the controller and they work fine.  When I
disconnect the USB cable,  the controller
does not execute the timers 90% of the time.
If I review the commands sent be the
controller, they appear to have been sent,
but usually nothing happens.

Has anybody had a problem like this.
