GUI Not presenting the proper status
« on: March 29, 2005, 07:34:40 PM »

I have a macro that is triggered by a
motion sensor(M5) that turns on 3 outside
lights then rings a chime.  I set flags 5
and 6 to prevent the chime from constantly
chiming.  I pause 03:30 secs clear flags 5
and 6.  turn 3 outside lites off.

The first time the motion sensor is tripped
all works fine.  lights go on the chime
chimes and the GUI shows the lights as
being on.  On subsequent trips of the
motion sensor (with in the 3 1/2 min
period) the GUI shows that the lights are
out.  When actually the lights are on.  The
macro runs it course and turns the lights
off after 3 1/2 mins.

Below is the macro that is from the macro
report.

Night Time Visitor M5 On and
The time is between Dusk and Dawn and
Flag Status Off exactly 5
(C7) Porch Lights ON
(C14) Outside Garage ON
(C15) Inside Garage ON
(D1) Visitor Chime ON

T,
Keep in mind that the flags are working in
the hardware only, not the software.

From the Help file "...Only macros that run
in the ActiveHome hardware can set flags.
If you doubleclick on a macro from the
ActiveHome software it runs the macro in
software and the flags won't be set...".

In regards to the post below.
I am running win 2000 server sp4
AHP 3.183
Smartmacros 3.183
Interface connected 24/7
AHP running 24/7

Martin,
the macro was triggered by the motion
sensor.
The macro works fine, its just the GUI that
is getting screwed up. Flags are working as
they should.
Thanks,
Tony
