DIFFERENT CAMERA CONNECTIONS
« on: January 17, 2005, 02:29:33 AM »

I have several cameras throughout my
business. The majority were FOCUS cameras
going into a several quad screen monitors.
Then I had a Deggy system (YUK) installed.
Recently I purchased several cameras that
do not have the phone jack connections.  I
heard there is something for the back of a
televison that you can plug in the
different types of connections into 1 box
and view on screen...does anyone know about
this???

I don't know quite what your looking for
Gregg ,but what I have is a video scanner
that takes 4 X10 hard wired cams. 4
imputs,RCA or S video and scanns 4 cams
anywhere from 2 seconds to 20 seconds. Full
screen. Comes with remote and made by R C A.
Can be purchased from Princess Auto in
Canada for $40.00.( It would scann any
video signal even the wireless cams but you
need a receiver per cam.)Also works manual.

I have three cameras that should deliver
their functions to different receivers, but
since they are sending the signal to the
same area, the signals get mixed and I can
not get a proper signal from one camera to
its proper receiver. How can I make the
differenciate each signal?
Thank you
Carlos

Hi Carlos,I'm thinking that your not
changing the  A B C D switches on each cam.
This is found under the small (oval shape)
rubber plug on each cam base. It has to
match the letter selected on the receiver.
Sounds like you have a receiver for each
cam like I do. Hope this helps.

I have 5 sets of cameras with vcr commander,
firecracker, one(1) pc video converter. I
have a building with upstairs and
downstairs. I have a server up stairs the
building that I need to install the software
on.
How can I setup two sets of the cameras
downstairs to view them on my pc upstairs.
What do I need to accomplish this task.
