Weak Ninja P/T signals
« on: May 03, 2005, 04:56:12 PM »

Is there any way that the ninja's P/T RF
signals transmitted through the air can be
increased to the full range of the camera's
RF image transmission through the air? After
purchasing and installing several ninjas, I
discovered their motion control range is
limited to less than 100 feet while the
camera/receiver image range is more than 500
feet.

Charles as I just told R. Boyd:
"R. Boyd, I have three and have yet to get
the first one to work further than 25 feet.
I have a friend who explained to me since
the whole X10 product line operates on 2.4
ghz as well as all cell phones, cordless
phones, microwaves and garage door openers
and more all this interferes with the Ninja
and the remote. Virtually rendering it
useless in the world they portray it to be
used in. Sorry they don't tell you this
before you fork over you cash to X10. In
the  perfect world where no other
interferance  from other 2.4 ghz items it
will work well.  But where is that perfect
world. Mine was on  a 2k acre deer lease. It
worked there but no  way at my home. I share
your dispare."
The Ninja has very limited to nearly no
range especially where you might get ANY
interferance from other 2.4 ghz appliance.
Good luck. X10 does not have a fix.
