I'm having trouble hooking an X-10 camera
directly to a VCR.
Using the AV inputs on the VCR I seem to
record but only static.
I have one camera run into a TV/VCR combo
and it views and records just fine.
Need help hooking camera straight into a VCR

If it works in the VCR combo but not the
VCR then your camera is obviously working
fine.

Make sure the VCR is set to the correct
line input that you have plugged the camera
or receiver into.  Try all the inputs in
case one is faulty.  You may have a
defective VCR.
