Battery operated outdoor light
« on: June 07, 2004, 06:55:58 AM »

I'm trying to setup a 'trampoline
protection system' where a light near the
trampoline comes on and a chime goes off
inside if someone trys to use the
trampoline at night.  I really don't want
the expense of wiring out into the yard.
Is there any such thing as an X10 battery
operated outdoor light?

Well, unless X-10 brought out a new item,
No.  What you can do is this.  Purchase a
eagle eye sensor program it to a
transceiver and indoor chime, and hook up a
lamp to that transceiver by the nearest
window, or if you have a porch light
purchase a wall switch module ws467 replace
your existing wall switch and put the
correct house code setting and when someone
crosses the eagle eye motion sensor the
chime would go off and the porch light will
turn on.

Outdoor motion dector floodlight

How can I get a manual to reset my outside
motion dector floodlight? I lost my manual
that came with it and my electricity went
off and the light stays on all the time.
