I have been in contact with BRK electronics
(First Alert) re: a smoke alarm with a
Normally Closed contact to that can be
connected to an X10 Door/Window Sensor.  BRK
sells smoke alarms in the UK that can be
interconnected using an alarm wire.  They
are currently checking to see if that
connection will trigger a door/window
sensor.  If this works, the all lights on
signal will be transmitted through the X10
alarm panel.  I anticipate a response by
8/13/04 and will advise.

new here- hi to all!  just trying to add smoke/fire protection to my X 10 sys.- isnt it possible to add a piezo, or similar sensor (like a glass break sensor) next to my smoke detector and when the smoke alarm goes off (hope it never does) it will trigger the X 10???  just thinking out loud...will continue to read through the forum to see what others have done.  thanks!  George
