Alarm Certificates

My insurance company has requested
an 'Alarm Certificate' in order to recieve
the monitored alarm rate decrease. How do I
get the 'Alarm Certificate?'

Well it the system was installed by a
authorized installer the company can
provide you with the proper paperwork, if
you installed it, or even if another
company did, you may have to obtain a
permit from your municipal and forward a
copy of the authorization to your insurance.

I dont know what insurance company you have
but AAA acepted mine without a certificate.
I just told them i had a X10 alarm system
and it calls me if something goes wrong
