Monitoring the AC power
« on: December 16, 2004, 12:40:07 AM »

It's nice to see this forum, a lot of great
suggestions.

So, here's my question. How or what would I
need for my X10 system to also monitor my AC
power? Here in the north midwest we get a
few power outages from snow storms, an
occassional summer storm, or a car hitting a
pole. I'm not concerned with the building
temp, for I have hydronic heat and the
building will stay above freezing for 4-5
days without power. I'm more concerned about
a break-in during these outages. Most all
phone lines are buried so they continue to
work. Also worried that someone may want to
cut the power line on the pole(lines are
buried from pole to the inside of the
building.)
