flood cam
« on: February 03, 2005, 12:22:09 PM »

Hi,
Have flood cam, VCR Commander & Video receiver. I was
hoping to set up my system without being hooked up to a
tv. Is this possible ??

I do not have that system, but most TV/VCR
setups have the signal going to the VCR and
then out to the TV.  On its way through the
VCR uses part of the signal to record and
passes it to the "out" jack If the TV is
not on/not connected then the VCR still
records, you just don't know what it is
recording until you play it back

and only sometimes turn off even after
setting the cams eye to the darkest setting.

if using halogen bulbs use standard bulbs,
this may help the unit shut off.
