Hi all,

I live in Australia and note that the X10
system is not sold outside of the United
States and Canada.

Question: Are their compatability issues
with using an X10 system, particularly the
automatic diallers, with the Australian
phone system.

Are there any other compatability issues I
should be aware of ... includng:

1. Wireless frequencies - could they
interfere with other equipment ie
television etc?

2. Any other matters in relation to
international use of the system that should
be considered prior to purchase.

I'm looking at getting an X10 wireless
system.

i don't know if they work where you are but,
mine doesn't interfere with my tv's or
anything else i have in the house.also
checkout the deals on wired and wireless
cameras. i got one last week for 109.99
comes with 3 low-light cams and remote and
video sender. i have it hooked up to my
internet so i can see whats going on around
the house while i'm @ work.

Is your countries power 120 VAC? The US RF
Frequency used by X10 is 310Mhz. I think
that European one are in the 432.?? range
not 100% on overseas frequencies. I know
that the US units have FCC acceptance for
the RF. Probably Canada also.

433.920 seems to be what I have found for
International RF
