Anyone seen this?
« on: June 14, 2005, 08:16:56 PM »

http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&category%5Fname=CTLG%5F002%5F003%5F000%5F000&product%5Fid=49%2D1000

That looks excellent, it's even password
protected! And it has an actual display
screen, wow! Radio Shack definitely has the
better system over x10 now.

Yes it is an OEM from X10 as the FCC IDs
indicate. One thing it will not do is
properly trigger either the PH508 or SH10A
powerhorns. Check the threads here as I and
others have done experiments and line
transmission printouts of the way it and the
X10 DS7000 differ. I have both the DS7000
and the 49-1000 to test with.

X10 made that!? Why are they still only
selling their cheap-looking DS7000 here, then!?

It is an OEM made special for the Shack. The
Black and Decker Freewire was also X10 OEM.
In the FCC web site where the database is;
type in the search for the FCC ID and the
Grantee is X10 Wireless Inc. B4S prefix
seems to be X10s.

Say what happen to this unit has Radio Shack discontinued it and if so anyone know why seemed like it had great potential except for the range issues. Thanks
