Not to worry 310Mhz will absolutely not interfere. My wireless phone did interfere with my wireless cameras had to go to 5.8 Ghz hybird system.

Yep I had a similar problem my first one died after about 7 months. Came home one day and the thing was just buzzing sent it back for a replacement the one I received has been going strong for almost two years now. About 6 moths after I got the new one someone broke in they didn't get anything had two LARGE power horns and a outside siren I bought a few years back that was made specifically for x10 and I also have most of my lights x10 controlled so the whole house looked like it was alive. One of my neighbors said he sawing them running from the house I got the call and got there about 15 minutes latter. Just thank God it didn't happen when the first one failed.
