There's been some work done at decoding the
protocol to the cm15a at the usb level. I've
integerated CM15a support into an existing
linux app, and it's been stable for well over
a month.
See homeauto.usandthem.com for details,
including a very simple demo app. On that
site there's also a link to Neil Cherry's
stuff for the cm15a.
The stuff at homeauto uses libusb. I've only
used it with a 2.4 kernel, but it may also
work on the mac (there's a libusb for the mac)
Without the ahp pro sw on windows, I've found
the cm15a to be quite stable, but for me most
macros are driven from linux and not stored
on the cm15a. I do wish the RF range was
improved, as I still need to use my old
tranceivers.
