Trigger macros with dim/brighten button
« on: October 12, 2004, 04:51:17 PM »

Would it be possible to trigger macros
using the dim/brighten buttons?  (I
understand that these would only be
received as house code brighten/dim, but
that is two more pottential triggers for
macros...)  This would be usefull if your
remote is on a different house code than
the lamps it controls (i.e. the remote is
on the M house code where all your macros
are built - M dim/brighten doesn't mean
anything in this setting, might as well be
able to program it.)

Paul

PS: The submit button does not work if the
message is longer than some length - it
would be nice to get an error message so
the user knows why nothing happened.

Also, could someone look at my previous
post "Different files..."  It seems to have
been overlooked.

I'm pretty sure that the macros stored in the
interface couldn't respond in this way, but
it could be something we process in the
software. I'll see if we can.
