I have a 2 pin appliance module that was
received from X10.com
It does not match picture or listed module
model numbers on the AHP software.  It is a 2
pin appliance module.  It carried the model
number PAM01.  The modle number on the X10
order form received from X10 was HC20AM.  It
works fine but makes me wonder if something
is amiss when selecting the module from the
AHP hardware list.  The picture does not
match any of their appliance module pictures.
Should X10 upgrade their models ? Maybe
remove the model numbers and leave them
generic ?  Makes me wonder when I choose a
model if my choice was in some way part of
the CM15A failures ??

PAM01 is the X10 Pro version of the AM486.
Unless the module has a special feature. It
would not make much difference in your
choice. I have some other brand X10 type
modules. I just pick the generic one or the
X10 model it is close to. I even have lamp
and appliance types all called appliance
types. Only thing I can't do is pick a dim
function as the software thinks it is an
appliance type.
