Send Unit Code For X number of Seconds?

Is it possible to send a unit code for x
number of seconds?  I have a couple of
appliance modules that are programmed by
setting a transmitter to the house code and
then sending the unit code for 5 seconds.
Can I do this with AHP or the AHP SDK?
