Activehome 1.42 "Store in Interface" settings for module
« on: May 05, 2006, 05:37:02 PM »

I have been using X10 for a good 2 years now and me and my wife are very pleased with it.  my question is..   i usually setup timers for light or appliance modules and i always check  the store in interface Button.  I was under the impression that by storing in the cm11 that i wanted to turn on the light in the living room at 11 tonight that even if i shut down the computer after i store the request in the interface that it would go ahead and send the command. but this is not the case.. when i shut off the computer none of the timer's work.. am i doing something wrong, misinformed or possible defective cm11??

In addition to checking the box in each timer for "Download to interface", you have to download the whole schedule to the interface by clicking on the menu item Tools > Download Timers and Macros.  (And then make sure the CM11A  clock is set to the right time.)

Yesterday it worked.
Today it doesn't work.
X10 on Windows is like that.
