continuous recording
« on: May 29, 2006, 03:40:27 PM »

Hey Now * * * Nothing covering this problem anywhere, as of yet...

My AHP program chooses a 'Dominant Camera'  and 'Continuously Records'...

Every 5 seconds it takes a pic (set to 'Auto Stills')...

I have just completed this forums directions, by 'removing' all my 'AHP', folders, and components...

I Re-Installed all new downloads, 1) AHP, 2) Smart Macros, 3) iWitness,  all but 'My House'(saved but not run)...

Win.XP, macros set correctly, sensors placed correctly, newest updates and downloads...

Would my CM15A cause this, or somewhere in software cause 'continuous recording' and switching around camera's with one of them being dominant and always returning to it...

Thanks for the reply ... Budwah

'Dominant Cameras'   has been covered usualy it is the one closest to the cm15a or one on a video sender as in my case. you may have to add an off command in your macro for that cam to force ahp to turn it off or/and place it in a different group. ;)
As for the continuing auto stills, Have you cleared your interface after redoing your files? try clearing then redownload to the Cm15A. Sounds like you have a macro which starts the auto stills but doesn't stop them.

Tuicemen thanks for the reply * * *  I have had this problem for a while , and have been to this forum many times over these issues...

I have 'cleared' the interface, added and extra 'off',  my delay is set to 1 minute...

I did a total un-install of ahp and then re-installed ahp, smart macros, and iwitness, (my house is saved but not installed)...

How do I 'clear' just the CM15A by itself??? As you recomended...

Will I need another AHP(for the cm15a) download from X10, or, are my recent ones still good???

I will try placing the camera's into seperate groups...

Should I re-install 'smart macro' for them to work correctly ???

Thanks ... I know it'll work if I can get a handle on these re-accuring issues... Budwah

In AHP under tools click "clear interface memory"
your resent ones should still be good there is a limit to the number of downloads you can make from the link.
once you've cleared your Cm15As mem you'll need to reinstall all your plugins and your ahx file then update the interface.
See you at ACCESSHA.com ;)

Tuicemen * * * Seems to me like we go around and around, and your only advice is re-install, re-install.

when the same keeps happening over, and over.

maybe it's me maybe the CM15A

after your last to me... I am in total shock that your advice to me was yet another forum ...

Not to mention it looks even more confusing to a guy like me...

I just wasn't blessed with your technical skills... But I'll bet I can play the banjo circles around you...

I need simple help... I have just completed re-installing Ahp and the plugins ...

I would love info on how to remove the CM15A ONLY , then re-install it... can you help me ...

all your other info has gotten me to here, and I have so little way left to go ... Thanks        Budwah
