I have tried all of teh help topics and follwed the instructions, I can't get even one module to work. Is this equipment just a rip off?

If you can give a few details. Like controller you are trying to use; software and the modules in question. Many here will be glad to help you. Can we guess the cm15a USB Interface with AHP software; as this is the section it is in?
Unfortunately we can't read minds on what you have exactly.
